To discuss the Benazir Leave Support Programme (BISP) and the Ramazan Relief Package, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif recently chaired a meeting.
During the holy month of Ramadan, he instructed appropriate officials to promptly distribute funds under the Benazir Income Support Program (ESP) to worthy individuals.
To make sure that all who qualify are contacted, PM Shehhar Aho ordered the launch of a national awareness campaign.
It was disclosed during the meeting (which was attended by prominent people like Senator Ishaq Dar and Ahad Cheema) that the BISP’s quarterly payments had increased to Rs. 10,500.
Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the need to make payments on time during Ramadan, highlighting in particular the extra Rs. 2,000 that households in Balochistan need.
The meeting also revealed that the Ramazan Relief Package, which offers discounted prices of essential commodities for a total subsidy of Rs. 7.5 billion to counter the consequences of the nation’s high rate of inflation, would help over 39.6 million families.
There are nineteen necessary food items in the Ramadan Relief Package, including sugar, bread, and legumes.in Balochistan, families.

In addition, the meeting’s representatives addressed concerns about Benazir Income Support Program enrollment and unveiled a new, integrated system for managing grievances and guaranteeing prompt resolution.
It is important to note that the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will convene in Peshawar on March 12 to witness the moon. This marks the beginning of Ramadan.
These efforts are being made by the government to reduce the stress and tension related to fulfilling their basic needs during the holy month of Ramadan. So that they can easily fast and worship ALLAH without having worries.
