Canada has unofficially agreed to admit extra laborers from Punjab.
On Thursday, Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab Mohsin Naqvi and Canadian High Commissioner Leslie Scanlon reached an informal agreement at a meeting.
Naqvi expressed confidence over the accord, noting that Pakistani youngsters will soon be able to pursue work prospects in Canada.

Furthermore, the two sides had a lengthy conversation about potential collaboration in other areas, such as environmental protection.
The emphasis on environmental collaboration is essential, especially considering Lahore’s present status as one of the most polluted cities in the world.
In the following weeks, a team from the Punjab administration will visit Canada to sign the deal formally.
