The current wave of cold and fog has persisted in the larger part of the country for many days causing to drop in temperature significantly. The ongoing fog in the country will end when there will be a spell of rain.
The Met Office Forecasts Rain and precipitation across the country from January 25 to January 28.
The Meteorological Department predicts rain and snow in Gilgit Baltistan, Kashmir, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
However, intense fog/smog is expected to remain in the plains of Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh throughout the final week of January.
