Types of Saudi Arabia visa:
There are three various types of Saudi Arabia visas:
- Employment Visa
- Business trip Visa
- Family travel or Residence Visa
Documents Required for Visa:
Anyone intending to enter Saudi Arabia will require a visa, with the exception of nationals of countries that are members of the Cooperation Council for the Arab states of the Gulf.
The following documents are required for three different types of visas to enter Saudi Arabia.
- For the duration that you are employed, your passport is valid.
- A passport-sized colored photo.
- Proof of paying for the visa online using the Enjazit website.
- Completing the visa application
- A three-copy certified medical report.
- A letter of appointment from the Saudi sponsoring company has been approved by the minister of foreign affairs and the Saudi Chambers of Commerce.
- The written employment contract.
- A genuine copy of the applicant’s degree from a university, attested to by the Saudi Cultural Mission.
- Any police report or criminal records.
- An addressed, pre-paid envelope.
Application procedure:
The following procedures must be followed in order to obtain a visa and residency permit in Saudi Arabia:
- The supporting employer must register with the Saudi Interior Ministry.
- The employer will submit an application for a work visa to the Ministry of Labor in Saudi Arabia.
- When the application is approved, the Ministry of Labor will also notify the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Within two weeks, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will issue a visa permission number.
- The employee will provide the aforementioned documents to the relevant Saudi Arabian embassy and their application for an employment visa.
- The employee will receive a visa from the embassy in one to three weeks, after which they can go to Saudi Arabia.
- The worker needs to apply for a Saudi Arabian residence permit, or iqama, through the Ministry of Labor.
- The Ministry of Labor will transmit the approved application to the Ministry of Interior, where the iqama will be issued by the general passport directorate.
- In order to prove that they are authorized to live and work in Saudi Arabia, workers must always have their iqama on them.
