Due to a lack of sufficient clouds, the Punjab administration decided to stop the artificial rainfall operation on Tuesday.
According to sources, two planes from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are now stationed at Lahore Airport, awaiting permission from the meteorological department to carry out the fake rainfall operation.
It was revealed that the Meteorological Department had not issued the requisite authorization for fake precipitation, forcing the aircraft to return after the last unsuccessful attempt.
