The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has imposed additional taxes on all domestic flight passengers in Pakistan, according to reports released on Saturday.
According to a statement issued by the administration, every passenger on local flights would be required to pay Rs100 as part of a nationwide airport tax.
The CAA has mandated that all airlines operating domestic flights in the nation collect and deposit additional levies from passengers.
Hundreds of people go to different places around the country on various aircraft, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Air Blue, Air Sial, and Fly Jinnah.
