The Ministry of Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan have announced an AJK and Kashmir refugees scholarship KANA program for Azad Kashmir, Jammu, and Kashmir refugee students.
Applications for the award of new stipends on prescribed forms are invited from A.K. National/J&K Refugee students who have been nominated by this Ministry, Secretary, Nomination Board, AJ&K, or who have obtained admission on a general merit basis in recognized institutions of Pakistan and AJ&K for the calendar year 2022.

This scholarship is only applicable to students who are British nationals or J&K refugees who are enrolled between 1.1.2021 and 31.12.2022. Students of the applicant shall be evaluated for grant stipends based on the mandated quota designated for A.K. Nationals/J&K Refugees, merit in the subjects listed below, and fulfillment of the following conditions.

Application Procedure
Attested copies of the applicant’s State Subject Certificate/Domicile/Marks Sheets, NCC Certificate, and other documentation must be sent with the application form.
Only applicants who received at least 50% in the previous examination would be eligible for a stipend award. Incomplete applications, applications received after the deadline, and applications containing errors will be rejected.
Furthermore, tampering with any information in the application form/certificates may disqualify the applicant from receiving a stipend.
The appropriate authorities will verify certificates such as mark sheets and domicile. Those discovered to be involved in forgeries will face legal action.
Students receiving other types of stipends are not eligible. Applications for courses of study other than those listed above will not be considered.
Those who have received stipends in past years do not need to apply again. Their stipends will be renewed upon receipt of their respective universities’ progress/promotion reports.
Applications received before the posting of this advertisement will be rejected. Application on the prescribed Form, accessible on the KA&GB Division’s website, www.kana.gov.pk, must be received by the undersigned by 31.12.2023 via registered post.
