New Student Nol Cards Introduced in Dubai

Here is great news for the students of school and university. Dubai has now launched a new NOL card for school and university students which will offer various benefits.

Serving as a universally accepted student ID, it provides access to a range of services and discounts across the globe. By using the Nol card to make payments, students can take advantage of special deals and discounts of up to 70% at retail establishments in Dubai, including canteens at schools and universities. 

Additionally, students in the UAE are eligible for a 50% discount on public transportation. The Roads and Transport Authority’s (RTA) Salah Almarzooqi, Director of the Automated Collection Systems Department, revealed that the card will be introduced in September 2024, in time for the start of a new school year.

During the Mena Transport Congress and Exhibition, the RTA and the ISIC Association formalized their agreement to introduce the new card. The widely accepted ISIC card enhances student experiences by confirming student identity and providing a plethora of savings across the globe.

The goal of the collaboration, according to Mohammed Al Mudharreb, CEO of RTA’s Corporate Technology Support Services Sector, is to facilitate students’ travels via Dubai’s public transportation network, which consists of buses, trams, metro, and marine transportation. 

 Moreover, you can pay at retail establishments and schools with the new Nol card. 

 With the new Nol card, parents can watch balance top-ups and set daily spending limits for their kids’ accounts, assuring responsible spending.

How to Apply:

Through the Nol Pay app, students can apply for the card and the card will be sent to their houses. When the new version is released, current student Nol cardholders will find it easy to update.
