Government officials’ leaves in the federal capital are prohibited until the February general elections.
On the directions of the Election Commission of Pakistan, the deputy commissioner of Islamabad issued an order in this respect.
According to the regulation, sick absences would be provided only in circumstances of maternity or with the authorization of a medical officer.

The federal education system and its subordinate institutions have been told not to leave the city. According to the deputy commissioner’s directives, cops and officials should not leave the capital during the winter holiday.
The officials have been asked to remain at the station of posting to undergo polling staff training, according to the DC.
The judgment further instructed the authorities to obey the Election Commission of Pakistan’s orders to the letter and spirit.
