All Pakistanis planning to enter Canada on a work visa should get a protection stamp placed on their passports to prevent any issues when the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) agents check them at the airport.
The visa protector offers its users several advantages. Firstly, they are entitled to full legal protection; secondly, they can receive full support from the Pakistan Mission in their country of employment.

The Pakistani embassy in Canada has a Community Welfare Attache who can provide legal aid. Additionally, life insurance up to Rs. 1 million is offered.
The Bureau of Emigration & Overseas Employment is where applicants must go to submit their paperwork and pay the deposit for the protection stamp. The necessary documents are listed below:

- Registration fee receipt
- Welfare fund receipt
- Emigration promotion fee
- Both original and copy of insurance certificate from State Life Insurance Corporation.
- Employment contract signed by employer or approved by the Director General, Bureau of Emigration and Overseas Employment

Canada Work Visa Protector Fee in Pakistan
To cover life risk up to a total of Rs1,000,000. Each immigrant must deposit Rs2,500 as an insurance premium. The duration of insurance coverage is five years.
Additionally, each applicant must pay Rs. 2,000 for the Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) welfare fund, Rs. 2,500 for registration, and Rs. 200 for the OEC. Obtaining work visa protection would set you back a total of Rs. 7,200.
