On Sunday, the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences (LUMHS) in the Jamshoro area conducted the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) for admission to the MBBS and BDS degree programs.
A representative for LUMHS said that 13,354 applicants, including 7139 women, took the exam. Participants in the test included candidates from 13 districts in Sindh including Badin, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Matiari, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Shaheed Benazirabad, Sajawal, Thatta, Tharparkar, Umarkot, Tando Muhammad Khan, and Tando Allahyar.

He claimed that Professor Dr. Ikram Din Ujjan, Vice Chancellor of LUMHS, oversaw the preparations and made sure the test was properly vigilance.
He stated that LUMHS was providing 350 seats for MBBS admission and 100 seats for BDS, while 100 seats were set aside for male candidates at Bilawal Medical College, Jamshoro. Senior academics oversaw a medical camp that prepared students for any medical emergency.
