The education status in Pakistan is below par. So govt. is taking several radical steps to improve the education status in Pakistan. The Punjab government has announced new financial scholarships to help students further their studies.
Children of active, retired, handicapped, and sick government employees have an excellent opportunity to get financial assistance to complete their education. The specifics are as follows:
Employees of the Punjab Government in various categories are eligible to apply for Stipends / Educational Scholarships for the fiscal year 2023-2024.
The government is providing the finest possibility to obtain financial assistance from the Pakistani government.

Who Can Apply for Educational Scholarships for Govt. Employees Children
- It permits all children of service, including retired disabled and other murdered or ill government employees, to apply.
- Conditions for Current/Retired/Disabled/Deceased Government Employees
- The pupils must have completed matric or intermediate classes with a minimum grade point average of 60%. And they are receiving instruction in the next standards. This possibility for all cash awards is limited to two youngsters.
- When the youngster is enrolled in a registered educational institution. 03- Children are eligible for the grant.
- This grant is available to children of government employees who are sick or handicapped.
- Each kid may apply for a separate scholarship.
- Every application must be approved by the institution’s head/principal.
Required Documents
- Student CNIC B-form
- Mother’s or Father’s ID card copies
- Computerized salary slips for government employees in December 2023 or January 2024.
- Copies of pension books for retired government employees
- Board of Examiners or University Result Cards
- If numerous applications are received, only the first two will be considered for the award.
Application Submission Procedure
- Children of all government Punjab government employees may submit application forms along with certified documentation from the institution’s head.
- Children of Employees of scale 16-22 BPS and 01-05 BPS must submit their application at the Provincial Welfare Fund Board Lahore.
- Children of employees 01-15 BPS must submit their application to the Deputy Commissioner of Respective District or Chairman of District Welfare Fun Board
