For casting your vote in the upcoming Pakistan General Elections 2024, the following procedure can be followed.
Process to cast your Vote:
Firstly it is necessary to know about your constituency. To get information about your constituency, send a text message to 8300 writing a CNIC number. After that, you will receive your information which includes the block code, serial number, and also the name of the electoral region.
Voting will take place in times between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Make sure to reach early in the polling station to avoid long queues.
Then wait for your turn in the queue. The presiding officer will check your name and electoral number to verify it. After verification, you will be cut out from the list and two ballots will be given to you.
The signs and stamps of the presiding officer are required to be on the back of ballot papers. Make sure that your ballot contains the sign and stamp because without these your vote will not be accepted.
These two ballots are of two colors; the first one will be white which is for the provincial parliament and the second one will be green which is for the national assembly.
Using a special ink, the presiding officer will imprint your thumb impression on the electoral rolls.
After verification, move on to the polling booths. Then insert these two ballot papers into the boxes; green ballot paper should be put inside the green-topped box and white ballot paper should be put inside the white-topped box.
Using this process, you can easily cast your vote in elections 2024 without having any trouble and you can successfully exercise your democratic right.
