In the Commerce Regular Group Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Part-II Annual Examination, 2023, held by the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK), female candidates secured the top three positions.
Celeina Bodani of Commecs College received 988 marks out of 1,100, according to the result announcement. She was able to take first place.
The same college’s Ishba Ali secured the second spot with 981 points, and Asbah Saeed secured the third spot with 978 points.
A total of 37,082 students registered for the Commerce Regular Group Exams, consisting of 21,335 boys and 15,747 girls. Overall, the boys’ passing percentage stayed at 27.43 and the girls’ passing % at 19.86.
22 instances of unfair methods were recorded throughout the examinations. All of these cases would be decided through a prudent process.
According to board officials, every attempt is made to give each candidate involved in such matters an equal opportunity for a personal appearance, hearing, and defense.
The results of any candidate who engages in these activities are kept secret until the Board of Governors approves the final judgment.

The assessment method involved participation from 150 colleges located throughout the city. Eight colleges and institutes, including Hussaini Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Dr. Ziauddin Intermediate College, Ali Intermediate College, Hamdard College of Science & Commerce, The Paradise College, Habib Academy Higher Secondary School, Korangi 5, and Takbeer Higher Secondary School, were among the eight where no candidate was able to pass the exams.
Additionally, there are more than 18 colleges where only one student has been certified successful.
