Million Rupees Worth Gold Stolen from Shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar

According to media reports, a startling heist occurred on Friday in which gold stolen from shrine of Lal Shahbaz Qalandar worth more than Rs 10 million was reportedly taken by the manager of the Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine.

Umar Soomro, the temporary minister of Auqaf Religious Affairs, fired the shrine’s manager, Zubair Baloch, and ordered that a robbery case be filed against him.

The gold worth Rs 12,372,863 was taken from the Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine in the last month, according to the Auqaf department.

The spokesman for the Minister of Auqaf claimed that the manager, Zubair Baloch, admitted to the robbery in front of the inquiry committee.

The interim minister, Umar Soomro, ordered the suspension of the manager’s pension and sent the issue to the Anti-Corruption Department.

Previously, evidence suggests that an untrained police officer was involved in the Orangi Town Sector 5 theft.

According to reports, an under-training DSP of District South Police was implicated in the heist of roughly 20 million rupees, 70 to 80 tola gold jewelry, and other valuables from a residence in Orangi Town.

According to police sources, the alleged officer’s special party has previously been involved in unlawful police raids.

The police have restored half of the stolen cash, gold jewelry, mobile phones, and laptop computers.

According to accounts, police officials are also putting pressure on the victim to avoid filing an incident report.
