On Tuesday, the Main Campus, Township of the University of Education, Lahore hosted the graduation ceremony for the sixth, seventh, and eighth batch of students enrolled in the National Freelance Training Program (NFTP).
The chief guest at the ceremony was Sajid Latif, the Director General of E-Governance at the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB), together with Ahmed Islam, the Joint Director of PITB.
The vice chancellor of the University of Education, Lahore, was Prof. Dr. Muhammad Alam Saeed. On this particular occasion, 300 students who finished their course received certificates.

This initiative was started by the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) in order to empower the country’s aspirational youth.
Courses in technology, marketing, and contemporary design are among the three disciplines in which training is provided under this program.
Speaking at the event, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Alam Saeed stated that there is no doubt that technological advancements have made life easier for people in all spheres.
These days, nations that have introduced the newest technology to their populace enjoy a special place.
He stated that young people make up the bulk of Pakistan’s population and that it is crucial to introduce them to contemporary technology so that they can both lead comfortable lives and actively participate in the nation’s growth.
In light of this, the government has started initiatives like the National Freelance Training Program, which teaches young people technical skills and connects them with online job opportunities.
The Vice-Chancellor expressed her congratulations to the graduating students. It noted that the National Freelance Training Program is an effective initiative that ought to help as many young people as possible.
