Govt. Announces to Extend Hajj Application Deadline

After receiving a negative response from citizens, the federal administration has decided to extend Hajj application deadline for the sponsorship Hajj scheme by one week.

As per a neighborhood media site, only 3,161 individuals have applied under the sponsorship plan to lead the impending Hajj.

Moreover, regardless of the public authority’s past declaration of a ten-day expansion in the application cutoff time, a great many spots stay unfilled under the public authority’s typical framework.

As per the media site, which referred to sources, a sum of 63,000 applications have been gotten hitherto.

It is quite significant that the Ministry of Religion put away 25,000 spots for the sponsorship framework, which permits unfamiliar Pakistanis to apply for Hajj or support somebody in Pakistan for the journey by paying in US dollars.

However, the administration is concerned about the low number of applications.

Previously, the ministry has made many initiatives to encourage more individuals to apply for Hajj this year.

This includes lowering Hajj costs, allowing women to undertake Hajj without a male guardian, and eliminating the restriction on anyone who has completed Hajj within the past five years. Despite these efforts, the government is still failing to generate public interest and satisfy the quota.
