Degree Attestation is required for Pakistani students who want to go abroad for their higher studies or jobs.
Now HEC (Higher Education Commission) has launched an online process of applying the process of degree attestation to ease the applicants and to provide them with hassle-free services.
All candidates can apply through the official website of HEC using this link https://eservices.hec.gov.pk. The application can be submitted by following simple procedures.
- Firstly you have to register yourself at the website.
- Create your account and put in your all required information.
- Then apply initial scrutiny of documents.
- After successful initial scrutiny of documents, applicants will be informed via SMS and email.
- After this process, applicants can schedule their appointment for walk-in mode (urgent only) or they can send their documents through courier.

Mods of degree Attestation:
Two modes for degree attestation are offered by HEC.
The first one is Walk-in mode which is only for urgent applications and applicants can apply for self-submission or can authorize any person who can go to the HEC office on his behalf and get their documents attested.
Another is courier service mode which is for all normal students. In this mode, applicants can send their all required documents through courier services while living in Pakistan or abroad. Courier Company will be responsible for the attestation and return of the documents in this mode.
Normal HEC Degree Attestation Fee Feb 2024
As of August 5, 2023, HEC has made the attestation fee available for online receipt through 1-link. The attestation fee must be paid online via 1-link by applicants, who must then confirm the payment on their profile.
The fee for attestation of an original document is 100 Rs. And for a photocopy of the document is 700 Rs.
Urgent HEC Degree Attestation Fee Update Feb 2024
For urgent document attestation, applicants have to pay an urgent attestation service fee which is 3000 Rs. On the other hand, the fee for the original and photocopy of the document remains the same which is 1000 Rs. and 700 Rs.
