Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has given a notification regarding Tuition fees for private medical and dental colleges in Pakistan.
The PM&DC referred to section 9(3) of Medical and Dental Undergraduate Education (Admissions, Curriculum and Conduct) Policy and Regulations, 2023, which gives different facilities to students.
Under Section 9(3), all private institutions will give the facility of paying the Tuition fee on a quarterly, six-month, or yearly basis to students.

Conditions on How to Get Discount for MBBS and BDS Tuition Fees
Students paying the college on a six-month basis ahead of time will be given a two percent discount in the tuition fee and a student paying the college on a yearly basis ahead of time will be given a four percent discount in the educational expense, the PMDC said.
“All Private Medical & Dental Colleges are coordinated to give the facility of payment/Tuition fee according to given guidelines to students of all meetings of MBBS/BDS program,” read the notification.

Any infringement of these headings will involve severe legal action against the college under the applicable laws, it added.
