The deadline to submit online admission forms for the morning program of 2024 at the University of Karachi has been extended to November 23, 2023, according to Dr. Saima Akhtar, the head of the KU Directorate of Admissions, who made the announcement on Monday.
She stated that the University of Karachi has made the entrance exam-based online admissions announcement for the morning session of the BS, B.Ed (H), and B.E. programs for the academic year 2024, along with the Department of Visual Studies, the Doctor of Physical Therapy program, and the Doctor of Pharmacy (morning and evening program).
She instructed applicants to complete the online application portal by November 23, 2023, and submit their completed admission form and scanned copies of the necessary documentation.

She revealed that the University of Karachi has just introduced a four-year Bachelor of Science program in Sports Business Management.
The departments of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Technology, B.E. Chemical Engineering, Applied Physics, Biotechnology, (BBA), Commerce, Computer Science (BSCS) and (BSSE) Split 2 + 2 Chinese, Criminology, Environmental Studies, Education, Human Nutrition and Dietetics, Food Science and Technology, International Relations, Public Administration, Mass Communication, Petroleum Technology, Sports Business Management, Special Education, and B. Ed (H) Teacher Education, and Visual Studies are accepting applications for admission to their four-year degree programs in BS, B.E., and B.E.
According to Dr. Saima Akhtar, applicants to the Department of Visual Studies’ four- and five-year bachelor’s programs must have received at least 50 percent of their marks in their Higher Secondary School Certificate or equivalent exams.
If they have already completed their diplomas, they must have received at least 60 percent of their points to be eligible to take the department’s aptitude test.
The admission cards will be uploaded by November 24, 2023, and the test will take place on November 26, 2023.
She further stated that applicants seeking to enter the Doctor of Pharmacy program must have received at least 60% of their marks in the pre-medical intermediate exam or its equivalent.
Students who intend to apply for self-finance or reserved seats, Dr. Saima Akhtar continued, must show up and pass the entrance exam in order to be considered for admission. Students should visit the official website, www.uokadmission.edu.pk for getting information about admissions such as, eligibility criteria, online admission forms, prospectuses, and instructions related to admission.
A Helpline Desk has been set up outside the Silver Jubilee Gate to serve new applicants and their parents from 9:30 am to 4 pm, according to Dr. Saima Akhtar, head of the KU Directorate of Admissions.
