The All Pakistan Private Schools Association (APPSA) has written to the Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab and the Secretary of Higher Education, requesting to Delay Matric Exams in Punjab by one month.
Mian Shabir Ahmad Hashmi, Central President of the APPSA, raised worry in his letter about the harmful impact of pollution and longer winter breaks on pupils.
In his letter, Hashmi emphasized the loss of critical study time for students due to the extended winter vacation, imploring officials to postpone the matriculation tests.
Mian Shabir Ahmad Hashmi, Central President of the APPSA, told Mohsin Naqvi and the Secretary of Higher Education that the extended winter vacation had resulted in an unfinished curriculum.
Shabir Ahmad Hashmi has requested a one-month delay in the matric examinations to finish the remaining material and give students more time for review.
Furthermore, he proposed beginning the matriculation test on April 15th, citing prolonged holidays and forthcoming elections as further reasons for this change.
The APPSA has asked for a month’s postponement in all examinations, including PAF, PEMA, and Matric, and has urged appropriate officials to do so. It is vital to know that the matriculation examinations will be held across Punjab on March 1.
