The National Highway and Motorway Authority (NHMA) has declared that automobiles will be prohibited from using all motorways without an M-Tag registration beginning February 5, 2024.
The NHMA has a crackdown on traffic rules violators by banning vehicles to use motorways that do not have M-Tag registration.
In a statement, the authority stated that the move sought to reduce waiting time at highway entry and departure locations, where vehicles previously had to queue to pay tolls.
This move will enhance the smooth exit and entry of the vehicles on motorways.
