Clarifying the historical and contemporary aspects of the Palestine issue was the seminar’s main objective.
Dr. Muhammad Sajid, an assistant professor at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) and a former head of the Urdu department, and Dr. Khalid Nadeem, the chair of the history and Pakistan studies department, were two of the keynote speakers.

Dr. Feroz ud Din Shah and Dr. Abrar Zahoor Bhatti, assistant professors at the Department of Islamic Studies, talked about their perspectives on the political, theological, and historical facets of the contemporary Palestine issue.
Dr. Muhammad Sajid discussed a comprehensive examination of the political environment, tracing the beginnings of the Palestine conflict and its evolution over time.
“The people of occupied Palestine are oppressed, and Israel has the fifth largest military in the world,” he said. We must make it abundantly evident that we oppose the ongoing shelling, invasion, occupation, and blockade of Palestinian territory.
The speakers also encouraged the international community to reject the story of colonial powers and acknowledge the ongoing suffering of Palestinians, whose homes are often being demolished.
They also emphasized that public protests and slogans won’t be enough to end the Palestine issue; instead, visionary leadership and an immediate ceasefire are required.
