Punjab Governor Muhammad Balighur Rehman stated on Saturday that research and higher education promotion were essential to development, emphasizing the need to give research particular emphasis.
He made this claim while speaking with a high-level group of renowned American academics and Kinnaird College faculty members, who paid him a visit at Governor House Lahore. The trip was led by Professor Dr. Rukhsana David, the college’s principal.
A thorough discussion of how to promote collaboration, research, and innovation in the field of education under the US-Pakistan exchange program was undertaken during the meeting.
Speaking at the event, Muhammad Balighur Rehman praised US collaboration in the growth of the education sector as well as other areas.
He went on to say that the Fulbright program is just one of the many scholarships and exchange programs that the US helps Pakistani students access for their further education. The Pakistani government values this cooperation.
According to Governor Punjab, the US exchange program’s academic exchanges will improve people-to-people ties between the two nations. He went on to say that Kinnaird College was a distinguished, old-fashioned university.
