As Pakistan prepares for the forthcoming general elections on February 8, 2024, there is much talk regarding the likelihood of a public holidays in February coinciding with this important event.
According to reports, educational institutions will be closed on Sunday, February 4, with a day off on February 5 for Kashmir Day. They also stated that schools will be closed from February 6 to 10, owing to elections.
According to reports, schools will reconvene on February 12 following an eight-day hiatus.
However, there is no formal announcement of holidays from the federal or provincial administrations.
