As per media reports, the Cabinet Division gave notice on Wednesday for public holidays scheduled in Pakistan for the following year 2024.
As per the notification, the 2024 public schedule schedule has 11 days, each denoting a huge occasion in Pakistan.
Significant dates Kashmir Day on February 5, Pakistan Day on Walk 23, and Independent Day on August 14.

Eid-ul-Fitr is celebrated on April 10, 11, and 12, Eid-ul-Azha is celebrated on June 17, 18, and 19, and Ashura (9th and 10th Muharram) is celebrated on July 16 and 17.
In the case of Muslim festivals, holiday dates are determined by predicted dates. They are subject to the moon’s appearance, which will be announced separately by the Cabinet Division.
Bank holidays will be observed on the dates listed below. However, the Banks/DFLs/MFBs will stay closed to the public but not to their staff these days:
