The transportation department furnished pupils with comprehensive qualifying requirements for obtaining electric motorcycles from brands such as Honda.
The e-bike supply program, Minister Bilal Afzal emphasized, is a government pilot project designed to take advantage of the market and encourage the use of electric bikes.
Afzal gave the committee instructions to create an economical and logical finance model and to present a detailed plan for approval to the Punjabi Chief Minister and the cabinet.
To ensure the success of the e-bike program, he underlined the necessity of a structure for approving student applications and demanded ongoing oversight.
In the first stage, e-bikes are distributed to qualified pupils via a voting process made possible by the Bank of Punjab.
Iftikhar Ali Sahoo, Chairman of the P&D Board, gave key departments instructions to work together on the program’s development, with an emphasis on large towns like Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, and Faisalabad for the initial distribution of e-bikes to students, both male and female.
