In the recently released QS Asia University Rankings 2024, just three Pakistani universities showed up on the list, raising worries about the present status of education standards in the country.
Then again, India has the biggest number of universities positioned among the top institutions in Asia, beating China by having 148 universities on the list.
Last year, 15 Pakistani universities were present on the list. In any case, the number has fundamentally dropped to only three this year. Quaid-I-Azam University was positioned as the top Pakistani university, taking the 86th spot on the list.

It is the main University in the country to come to the top 100 in the rankings. Besides, it is likewise positioned at 315 in the 2024 QS World University Rankings.
The other two universities named in the 2024 QS Asia University Rankings are Iqra University, Karachi, and Allama Iqbal Open University. The university was positioned in the 301-350 and 801+ brackets, separately.
Perking College has topped the list, firmly followed by the University of Hong Kong and the National University of Singapore (NUS). The other seven universities in the top 10 list include:
