Mitacs Globalink research summer internship is a competitive initiative for international undergraduates from the following countries and regions Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Columbia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, Pakistan, South Korea, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and the United States.
From May to October of each year top-ranked applicants participate in a 12-week research internship under the provision of Canadian University faculty members in a variety of academic disciplines from science engineering and Mathematics to the Humanities and social sciences.

Mitacs Globalink research internships are currently available at over 70 universities across Canada.
Financial Coverage:
- Round-trip Airfare to Canada (cost varies depending on the origin country)
- Transportation from the airport in Canada to your hotel.
- Housing stipend (amount varies depending on country of origin)
- Health coverage
- Stipend for college enrolment
- Food and incidentals stipend (amount varies based on country of origin)
- Participation certificate.
Eligibility Criteria:
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- Participants must be from one of the following countries: Australia, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Mexico, Pakistan, South Korea, Taiwan, Tunisia, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, or the United States.
- Enroll in a full-time undergraduate or combined bachelor’s/master’s program.
- An authentic transcript from your home university, written in English or French.
- A minimum of one letter of recommendation from a professor or research supervisor
- A Curriculum Vitae Outlining Research Experience
