The minimum monthly pay for workers on a daily wage was set by the Utility Stores Corporation on Thursday at Rs 32,000. An announcement states that as of July 2023, the minimum remuneration for workers receiving daily wages is fixed at Rs 32,000.
The notice further stated that the employees’ outstanding debts would be paid in four equal monthly installments. A notice claims that the government has raised the cost of milk, tea whitener, spices, honey, and branded tea, among other things.
