The standard of higher education in Pakistan is not in line with the international standard and the government should take various measures on an urgent basis to bring it up to the international standard.
Keeping this in mind, Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has emphasized that changes should be made to carry out higher education so that it conforms to international standards.
He expressed these views while addressing a meeting in which the Vice Chancellors of all Public Universities of Baluchistan participated.
The Vice-Chancellor of Public Universities briefed the Prime Minister about the progress made in higher education and the problems facing it.

The prime minister further said that our youth and the workforce are the most valuable assets of Pakistan to develop in the future.
“Various educational opportunities will be given to the youth to acquire advanced education in Pakistan with the goal that they can play their part in the progress of the country,” he added.
He said that the absence of advancement in Pakistan was because of the absence of research and advanced education.
He guided the participants to reinforce higher education in the institutions for the latest research projects.
“It ought to be guaranteed that the students moving on from the universities have the expert abilities and capacities expected by the business community,” he added.

“The business community in Pakistan ought to make incubation centers in the universities with the goal that the students could learn the latest research techniques,” he added.
“Such measures will give prepared labor to the nearby industries and make way for a modern industrial revolution,” he added.
“Steady arrangement of quality higher education in the nation will carry improvement to all circles of life,” he concluded.
