Free Education for 10% of Students in Private Institutes In Sindh
The Government of Sindh has made a critical stride towards the provision of free education to improve access to education across the territory.
What can be named a major step towards the arrangement of free education to meriting students, Sindh Interim Chief Minister (CM) Justice (r) Maqbool Baqir has made it compulsory for private educational Institutions of the territory to impart education to 10 percent of students of their all-out strength for free of cost.

In a letter to the secretary of education, he redirected his attention regarding ‘The Sindh Right of Children’s Free and Compulsory Education Act and added that the law has been in force beginning around 2013, however, the private educational institutions have neglected to follow it.
He has cited two sections of section 10 of chapter 4 of the Act in the letter and has guided the secretary to get it executed in a few weeks’ time and present a report to him.
The Interim CM has additionally guided him to make a move against the private educational institutions not conforming to his guidelines.
This drive expects to reduce the financial burden on families and promote education and skill improvement among the young.
By giving free education, the provincial government of Sindh is pursuing making a more comprehensive and educated society, preparing for a more promising time to come for individuals of Sindh.
