Following an official announcement, the financial department answers the questions.
Every response complies with the guidelines established by the Pakistani government. All questions regarding the admissibility of this allowance are answered by consulting with the Finance Department’s Regulation Wing.
The first query is whether employees who just joined any federal department are eligible to apply for ARA 2023 @ 35% and 30%. Yes, they are eligible if they join on or after July 1, 2023, according to the response. 35% Allowance will be given to BPS-01 through BPS-16 employees.
At the very least, it applies to the applicable base pay scale. Maybe it’s frozen at the same degree. The percentage of this stipend that is granted to BPS-17 to BPS-22 employees is 30%.
The finance department said that the amount will stay frozen in response to another inquiry. The goal of this case is to improve basic pay’s ibid allowance by an annual increment award for 2023 or any future increases.
In the event that an employee is promoted to a higher pay range, their allowance will not increase and remain frozen.
The relevant authorities will take the required action based on need or requirements.
