The Punjab Education Endowment Fund (PEEF) has announced the Chief Minister Merit Scholarship 2024. The CMMS merit scholarship is a fully-funded fellowship for Ph.D. studies at one of the world’s top 50 QS-ranked (subject-wise) institutions in the following subject areas.
The application deadline for the PEEF CMMS scholarship is April 26, 2024.
Preference will be given to students from Punjab; however, a special quota has been set out for students from other provinces including AJK, Gilgit Baltistan (GB), FATA, and Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT).

Pakistanis who have applied to one of the world’s top 50 QS-ranked universities can apply for the Chief Minister Merit Scholarship 2023.
Candidates can get admissions in subjects like Life Sciences Medicine, Engineering & Technology, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences /Arts & Humanities.

Eligibility Criteria for PEEF CMMS Ph.D. Scholarships at the World’s Top 50 Universities
- Students applying for CMMS must have a valid Ph.D. admission offer from one of the world’s Top 50 QS Ranked (subject-wise) Universities in their desired topic fields.
- Throughout your academic career, you must maintain a minimum of 60%.
- He/She should declare a monthly family income (including self, husband, and parents) of Rs. 200,000/- or less on April 26, 2024.
- Candidates should have never received a foreign scholarship.
How to Apply for the 2024 PEEF Chief Minister Merit Scholarship
- Secure admission to the Top 50 QS Ranked (subject-wise) Universities in the World in the aforementioned selected topic areas.
- The scholarship application form is available at https:llwww.peef.org.pk/cmms.html.
- Send the completed application form to PEEF before the deadline.
Important Instructions
- Please keep in mind that the selected candidates will not be able to defer the scholarship to the next year.
- Permanent/regular faculty members of Pakistan’s public sector teaching/educational institutions are ineligible to apply for the Chief Minister Merit Scholarship (CMMS).
- The applicant must get admission to the university and apply for a visa.
- The Scholarship Selection Committee’s decision is final.
- PEEF maintains the right to reject any application or cancel the entire selection process for any reason.
- The deadline for applications to the PEEF Office is April 26, 2024.
