Travis Head, the plyer-of-the-match in the World Cup Final, has already been signed by SRH. He was purchased for Rs. 6.8 crore.

Wanindu Hasaranga of Sri Lanka was purchased by SRH for 1.5 crore INR after the team’s management chose Head as the first international marquee signing.

The previous most expensive player in IPL history was England’s Sam Curran, who was purchased by Punjab Kings last season for 18.5 crore INR.
