Recently, it has come to light that many government schools in Punjab, especially in Lahore, have not been able to reach their admission goals for the current school year.
Consequently, the District Education Authority of Lahore has taken measures against schools that are not functioning up to par, primarily aimed at replacing principals who failed to meet the predetermined admission targets.
Thirty Lahore high schools have received show cause notices for not meeting the admission requirements. Notable establishments that have received notifications include Government Understanding Girls Wahdat Road, Government Muslim League High School Empress Road, and Government Girls High School Singapura.

Other well-known educational institutions include Government Girls Junior Model Multan Road, Government Girls High School Gulberg, and Govt. Sheikh Sheikh Sardar Garhi Shahu is also on the list.
Other schools that received notices include Islamia School Ichhra, Government School Padana, and Government High School Jalu Station. Government Girls School Umar Block Iqbal Town, Government High School Railway Colony Mughalpura, and APS Model Town are also included in the exhaustive list.
Government School Shahdara Town, Gwala Colony, and Muslim High School No. 2 Civil Lines are a few of the establishments highlighted.
In addition, Government High School Walton, Government Islamia High School Cantt, and Government Girls School Road Krishna Nagar are a few of the institutions that will be punished for not meeting their admission goals.
The deadline for these colleges to meet their admissions goals is January 15. Specifically, the District Education Authority has mandated that headmasters who do not reach these goals risk having their jobs terminated.
