The Punjab government has declared winter vacations in Punjab non-formal education institutes from January 1 to January 10, 2024.
The Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education Department of Punjab has issued a notification on the subject. “In new of the increasingly harsh weather, the winter vacations in all Non-Formal Education Institutions in Punjab are hereby notified from 01st January 2024 to 10th January 2024.” The announcement went on to say.

Normal classes will resume for all non-formal institutes on January 11th, 2024.
In related news, the Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered the Punjab Government to extend winter holidays for all schools and institutions owing to the province’s extreme cold wave.
However, the Punjab’s Education Department has yet to issue a notification in this regard.
