Interim Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi of Punjab has stated that schools to reopen in Punjab on January 10.
Winter holidays in the province will not be extended. However, all public and private schools in the province will have delayed opening times.
Due to the frigid weather, schools will begin at 9:30 a.m., according to the first notification. The delayed time will continue until January 22.

The Punjab Chief Minister declared on Social Media Platform “X” that those schools will reopen on January 10 with fresh schedules following a meeting with education authorities.
“Due to the ongoing winter storm, school will resume on January 10, 2024.” Schools will begin at 9:30 a.m. from the 10th to the 22nd of January. “It is strongly advised to wear jackets and warm clothing,” he stated.
Given the cold weather, he stated that school will begin at 9:30 a.m. He also recommended pupils to wear coats and other warm clothing.
