The Turkiye Burslari Scholarship is a fully financed undergraduate and postgraduate scholarship program provided by the Turkish government. Turkiye Burslari Scholarship is the most comprehensive Scholarship program in the world. There are 15472 scholarships available for the 40091 programs at Turkey’s 201 universities. The Turkiye Burslari Scholarship program chose 128 Pakistanis for Bachelor, Master, and Ph.D. degrees in 2022.
Applicants may apply without first being admitted to a Turkish university. Following the award of the scholarship, the admission procedure will begin. During the application process, candidates are given a university and academic program guidance via the Türkiye Scholarships Information System (TBBS). The deadline for applying for Turkey scholarships is February 20, 2024.
The scholarship program includes programs at Turkey’s 201 top and most famous institutions, as well as a one-year Turkish language course that assures all students acclimate and adjust to the social and cultural context in which they reside.

Türkiye Scholarships also helps international students with all of the services and processes they need to feel at home in Turkey. These include housing, health insurance, a student bank account, a student residency permit, and a one-year language course.

Turkiye Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree candidates must have a minimum academic accomplishment of 70%.
- Minimum academic accomplishment required for Master’s and Doctorate candidates: 75%
- Minimum academic attainment for candidates to the Health Sciences (Medicine, Dentistry, and Pharmacy): 90%
- For Undergraduate programs, you must be under the age of 21.
- For Master’s programs, you must be under the age of 30.
- Doctorate programs need applicants to be under the age of 35.
Application Procedure
- Candidates must submit their applications individually at www.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr.
- There are no permitted institutions or individuals to apply for Türkiye Scholarships.
- Candidates are strongly recommended to thoroughly study the application system’s instructions and cautions.
- Applicants must submit and upload the needed documents to the application system.
- Applications sent by mail, courier, or hand will not be accepted.
- The applications are free. Please do not engage any third-party organizations or individuals who offer to make an application on your behalf for a price.
- Türkiye Scholarships involve both a scholarship and university placement. Applicants will be assigned to a university and program based on the 12 preferences they select in the application procedure.
Documents Needed
During the online application process, all candidates must provide the following documents:
- A valid National Identification Card OR a Passport
- A current photo of the applicant (Please keep in mind that the photo you submit into the Application system must be a suitable portrait of yourself; not identifiable candidate images may jeopardize the review of your application).
- Scores from national exams (needed for applicants who do not have any foreign qualifications or certification)
- Graduation diploma or interim certificate
- Academic transcripts (online screenshots and uncertified transcripts can jeopardize your application’s assessment)
- Scores from international exams (GRE, GMAT, DELF, YDS, YS…etc., if necessary by the chosen university and program)
- Scores on language tests (if necessary by the chosen university and program)
- A research proposal and a sample of your written work (only for Ph.D. candidates)
