Brunei Darussalam Scholarship 2024-25 Academic Session

Brunei government announces Brunei Darussalam Scholarship for undergraduate and postgraduate MS courses at Brunei’s premier institutions. Applications can be filed electronically through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Government of Brunei webpage. Pakistani nationals can apply for scholarships.

Scholarships will be available for BS and MS studies at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Kolej Universiti Perguvruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), and Politeknik Brunei (PB). The deadline to apply is February 15, 2024. The academic year begins in July/August 2024.

Government of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship Eligibility criteria

• Maximum age: 25 for BS and 35 for MS.
• English proficiency requires a Credit 6 in the GCE ‘O’ Level Examination, a Grade ‘C” in IGCSE English (as a second language), an IELTS score of 6.0, or a TOEFL score of 550.

How to Apply for the HEC Brunei Darussalam Scholarship.

• The deadline for applying for the Scholarship is February 15, 2024.
• A candidate may be needed to attend an interview at a location designated by the institutions providing the programs and take a written examination to assess their competence in English/Malay/Arabic (where appropriate).
• The Government of Brunei Darussalam maintains the right to refuse any application. The choice to pick applicants is final. Any disagreements or requests regarding the judgment will not be accepted.
• The following documents must be uploaded to the BDGS application form:

1. 1. A recent passport-sized picture.
   2. We have certified authentic copies of academic credentials and other supporting papers (such as certificates, testimonies, and transcripts).
   3. For non-English papers, certified English translations of supporting documents are required.
   4. We certified authentic copies of the birth certificate and passport.
   5. Referees provide references and recommendations.

• The completed program fee is exempt.

• Monthly Allowance: BND$550 (PKR:1,14,482).
