Recent news about security threats in educational institutes has caused chaos among students, teachers, and parents. A lot of rumors about holidays have been circulating in Punjab.
Dr. Usman Anwar, Inspector General of Punjab, has confirmed that schools, colleges, and institutions throughout the province will remain open.
He made this statement in reaction to the persistent uncertainty surrounding the province’s educational institutions.
It should be mentioned that social media and certain news sites reported that educational institutions may be closed from January 25 to January 29, 2024, owing to a security danger.
However, IG Punjab has denied the claims. Dr. Usman Anwar claims there is no security threat. He guaranteed that all educational institutions would continue to operate normally.
According to a statement from the provincial capital, the IG has not given any official order to close any institution or college in the province.
