The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa announced the Kohat Division Scholarship Program for the people of the Kohat division.
This fully funded scholarship will be financed by the Kohat Division Development Project (KDDP) and offered through the Higher Education, Archives, and Libraries Department for the academic year 2023-24, covering all educational expenses, including a monthly stipend, based on the criteria presented in the selected institution/disciplines.
This will serve as a golden opportunity for deserving and hardworking students who cannot complete their education due to financial conditions.
Current scholarship will be offered in BE Energy Engineering, BE Electrical Power Engineering, BE Mechanical Engineering, BE Chemical Engineering, BE Mining Engineering, MS Water Resource Engineering, BS Nursing, and MBBS fields.
Kohat Division Scholarship Program will be offered at UET, Peshawar, and KMU, Peshawar institutes

Who can Apply for Kohat Division Scholarship Program
To be eligible for the scholarship candidates must fulfill the following criteria
- Only Kohat, Karak, and Hangu residents are eligible to apply.
- Applicants must be qualified for admission to any of the authorized institutions.
- The candidate must not be receiving another scholarship.
- The applicant must also have a poverty score between 0 and 40, according to the BISP-NSER calculation.
How to Apply for the Kohat Division Scholarship Program
- Interested students can get the KDDP scholarship application from the colleges as mentioned above.
- A completed scholarship application form and supporting documentation must be sent to the appropriate university.
- Students must get admission to any of the above-mentioned recognized disciplines at participating universities based on their admission wet% on a merit basis.
- The applications of all possible applicants will be assessed by the Institutional Scholarship Award Committee (ISAC) within 15 days after the due date specified by the university.
- Failure to provide accurate information will result in the revocation of the award.
- Applications sent directly to KDDP or the Management Unit will not be accepted at the HED office.
