Educational institutes in all provinces will remain closed from February 3 till February 11 except the Islamabad in which there will be a school vacation from 6-9 February.
It further stated that the educational institutions in the federal capital will “reopen February 10 (Saturday)”.
However, public and private schools will remain closed from February 3 to 11. The schools follow two weekly holidays: Saturday and Sunday, hence they will be closed on Saturday (February 3).
In addition, the federal government designated February 5 (Monday) a national holiday in honor of “Kashmir Solidarity Day”. The educational facilities would be closed from February 6 to 9 for the national elections.
After a nine-day vacation, schools would resume on February 12 (Monday).

PUNJAB
The Punjab administration has also decided to close schools, colleges, and institutions across the state from February 6 to 9 in preparation for the general elections on February 8.
According to the Punjab Cabinet, the decision would apply to both public and private educational institutions.
SINDH
The Sindh Education Department has also stated that all public and private educational institutions in the province would be closed from February 6 to 9, in preparation for the upcoming general elections on February 8.
The public and private schools, colleges, and universities will be closed from February 5 to 9, as February 5 has already been declared a public holiday in honor of Kashmir Day.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
In light of the forthcoming general elections, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration has also decided to close educational institutions throughout the province from February 6 to 9.
A statement issued in this respect indicated that all public and private schools, colleges, and institutions in the province will be closed during the specified period.
With over 128 million voters, Pakistan is ready to have critical elections this time due to political and economic uncertainty.
The elections are scheduled to take place on February 8, with increased security and law enforcement deployment to guarantee peace and order throughout the country.
