The University of Agriculture is one of the oldest and best universities in Pakistan. Various subjects are taught at the University of Agriculture. It is located in Faisalabad district of Punjab province of Pakistan
Graduates and masters of this university are serving in various fields of Pakistan and are contributing to the development of Pakistan.
In the past few years, the admission merit of this university has become very high whereby many students apply for admission in it but due to the limited number of seats very few students are accommodated and the remaining students are often overstayed.

UAF now wants to restart the Pharmacy D program for which it has applied for NOC to the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan.
Therefore, a team from the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan visited the University of Agriculture Faisalabad on August 2, 2023, for the restoration and increasing the number of seats in the Pharmacy D Program.

On August 8, 2023, the 59th meeting of the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan was held, in which the Pharmacy Council of Pakistan issued a NOC to the University of Agriculture Faisalabad that they can restore the previous 50 seats and now can increase the number of seats up to 100 per annum.
Terms and Conditions of Pharmacy Council of Pakistan
- The Institute/College/University can be inspected at any time with or without prior notice to evaluate the compliance status. In case of fail to comply/adhere may lead to withdrawal of recognition or any bother penalty approved by the council
- The institute will ensure the “enrolment of the students” within 60 days of admission and the Institute/College/University will inform the counsel regarding the announcement of admission with copies of the relevant advertisement. Once enrolled, no deletion or alteration in the enrollment of the students is allowed.
- All such universities imparting postgraduate education and having a department of pharmacy are directed to upgrade to faculty of pharmacy on a priority basis and improve their faculty as per counsel’s notification and ensure student teacher Ratio (1:10). All the appointment of the teaching faculty will be as per (Qualification For appointment Of Teachers). Regulations 2015 duly notified by the council.
