KSA Announces Scholarships For Pakistani and Azad Jammu & Kashmir Students
I am sharing with you the most recent fully-funded scholarship opportunities for Pakistani and Azad Jammu & Kashmir Students who want to complete their education in the most prestigious universities of the KSA.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has declared completely funded scholarships for Pakistani and AJ&K students at the Diploma level, Bachelor, Master, and PhD in the Kingdom. Local students of Pakistan and legal occupants of the Kingdom both can apply for these scholarships.

Application procedure for Scholarships
- Students need to apply directly on the website of their respective Saudi university through an online portal.
- The time frame for application and eligibility criteria of every university is different. Students should look up the website for eligibility criteria of each discipline, course, or university.
- The scholarships are offered at various levels including diplomas, bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD.
- The scholarships can be availed by students of almost all disciplines such as Law, Political sciences, Education, Administration, Engineering, Economics, Agriculture, Computer Sciences, Arabic or Islamic studies, and Media Sciences.
- These scholarships are 25 different universities in the kingdom among which each university is allowed to enroll just 5% of international students except Princess Noor Binte Abdul Rehman University for girls, Riyadh (authorized to give 8% admissions to international students) and Jamia Islamia Madinah Munawara (can grant 85% admissions from total seats on scholarships.
- Applications will be forwarded by the University to the Saudi Ministry of Education which selects eligible applicants for the final award of scholarships.
- Applicants are required to send a copy of their submitted application to the official email address of the Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh, which is [email protected]. This is for the purpose of facilitating follow-up procedures with the Ministry of Education in Saudi Arabia and the respective universities regarding the scholarship grant.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicant must be a resident of Pakistani or AJK national.
- 75 percent of scholarships are available for students who live in Pakistan while the remaining 25 percent will be awarded to Pakistani students residing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
- Both males and females are eligible for scholarships.
- Required age Limit is different according to the program:

- Bachelor’s program: Between 17 to 25 years old.
- Master’s program: Below 30 years old.
- PhD program: Less than 35 years old.
- The nominated applicants are allowed to start their respective programs in September or October in Saudi Arabia.
- Applicant should not hold any other scholarship while availing of this Saudi Scholarship.
- Applicant should not have any criminal record.
- Applicant should not have been suspended from previous educational institutions for disciplinary or any other valid reasons.
- Additional requirements may be set by the Saudi University or the Saudi Government.
Benefits of Scholarship
- The scholarship includes free accommodation.
- Married scholars will receive a furnishing allowance for three months upon their arrival in Saudi Arabia.
- A return air ticket will be provided.
- Free medical coverage will be extended to both the student and their family if they are married.
- A graduation allowance for the shipment of books is also provided for the period of 3 months.
- Subsidized meals will be available on the campus.
- Campus facilities offer sports and recreational activities, along with support for dependents and coverage of travel expenditures.
- Monthly allowances will be granted which are:

- 900 Saudi Riyals (SR) per month for science students.
- 850 SR per month for humanities students.
