As directed by Governor Punjab Muhammad Balighur Rehman, a number of private sector universities have granted Danish School students admission and waived their tuition.
The universities are Qarshi University, The Green International University, the University of Faisalabad, Gift University (Gujranwala Institute of Future Technologies), and Superior University.
Governor Punjab said that this initiative will provide gifted Danish students with the opportunity to grow and succeed in life.
He also said that the pupils will change the direction of their families’ lives and benefit the country as a whole.
He proclaimed that a child’s access to a higher education should never be impeded by financial constraints or hardship.
The Punjab governor says the private university idea is praiseworthy. He continued by saying that, whether it is in extracurricular or academic activities, these children attending Danish schools have the same aptitudes and capabilities as everyone else.
He said that Danish schools give children from the most disadvantaged backgrounds who live in remote areas the chance to pursue higher education. He expressed the hope that these children will acquire the abilities they need to advance the country by attending Danish schools.
