During his statement at the thesis project exhibition opening event, Punjab University Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalid Mahmood expressed his respect for the exceptional creative talents of the university’s students.
The Punjab University College of Art & Design produced the event, which featured the final year MFA Graphic Design students’ work.

Professor Dr. Khalid Mahmood was not the only notable person present at the ceremony; Dr. Sumera Jawad, the college principal, Prof. Israr Chishti, chairman of graphic design, Prof. Ahmed Bilal, director of the research center, Prof. Samina, Hafeez Tahir, Dr. Farjood Rizvi, Prof. Asna, and the eager students themselves were also in participation.
The exhibition emphasized the university’s dedication to promoting creativity and academic excellence and showcasing the students’ inventive and artistic abilities.
It provided a venue for these young graphic designers to showcase their abilities and communicate their imaginative ideas to a wider audience.
The occasion was an appreciation for the commitment and diligence of the instructors and students who supported each other’s artistic development.
PU VC Dr. Khalid Mahmood appreciated the students’ work in his speech. He claimed that Punjab University students are creative.
He said that it is commendable that most initiatives have been designed with the needs of the market and society in mind, since this is producing new ideas for companies.
Professor Ahmed Bilal reports that during the course of the last six months, the students have worked on their projects, conducting research and developing them in a way that has led to the development of original business concepts.
Our goal, according to Prof. Israr Chishti, is to generate entrepreneurs. He gave the VC appreciation for motivating the pupils. The exhibition features 25 students’ design creations in total. The exhibition is scheduled to run till November 6.
