There was a lot of hesitation among the students about the date of the Medical and Dental College Admission Test and they got very little time to prepare for the exam, so many students recorded their protest on various social media platforms.
The report of this protest reached the Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq Kakar.
Taking note of the protest of the students who were aspiring MDCAT candidates who were supposed to appear for this admission test, Caretaker Prime Minister advised the PMDC to move forward the date of the admission test to facilitate them to get more time to prepare.

Earlier, PMDC had announced to conduct the admission test of MDCAT on 27th August, but now MDCAT has issued a notification in which the date of admission test has been moved forward.
As per the released notification, the MDCAT test will now be held on Sunday 10th September 2023.
Aspiring medical and dental candidates took their protest to government officials through various social media platforms, trending at number one several times on Twitter.
Early in the morning of 15th August, foreign students registered their protest in front of PMDC headquarters, in Islamabad and raised various questions about the management of PMDC.

Foreign students had reservations about the date of the entry test and also about the new rules, in which the passing percentage of foreign students has been set at 70 percent, and according to foreign students, such a high passing percentage does not occur in any country in the world for medical students.
