Medical research is part and parcel of the well-being of humanity. In this scenario, Pakistan is taking different radical steps in improving medical landscapes by starting different medical research projects.
In this regard a new initiative in the field of medical research in the form of a foundation of a state-of-the-art research center at King Edward Medical University (KEMU) declared by the caretaker provincial health minister Dr. Javed Akram.

During the meeting, Dr. Javed Akram looked at an extensive survey of the developments for the new King Edward Research Center, highlighting its main goal to lead advanced research pointed toward securing society from accidental diseases. He expressed his pleasure at the drive, portraying it as a welcome expansion to the prestigious Institution.
Dr. Akram’s visit stretched out to the tuck shop, an under-development cafeteria, a library, a students’ help desk, and different departments, featuring the comprehensive methodology toward propelling medical education and research.
Moreover, the caretaker health minister ordered the screening of Anarkali merchants as a feature of an initiative to guarantee public health. He called upon other medical universities in Punjab to focus on the latest advanced research, lining up with the institution’s vision.
National University Forge Pathbreaking Partnership Vice-Chancellor (VC), Dr. Mahmood Ayaz, focused on the significance of the latest research at King Edward Medical University, referring to its crucial character in securing people in the future from grave sicknesses. He applauded the resilient efforts of students and employees in adding to Pakistan’s status in the field of medical research.
Medical research trials will construct a crucial part of the research led at the newly built center, with the assumption that products rising out of these initiatives will acquire official endorsement.
