At Mehtab Shaheed Army Model School and College, also known as Army Public School and College Thatta, the annual award distribution ceremony for the academic year 2023–2022 was a historic event that honored the accomplishments of students at all levels, from kindergarten to intermediate.
This ceremony acknowledged the commitment and diligence of the school’s professors in addition to the conscientious students.

The Holy Quran was recited to begin the ceremony, which was then followed by a moving performance of the National Anthem.
The celebration gained significance and distinction when Colonel Yasir Sahib, the commanding officer, and Muhammad Ilyas Palijo, the late Shaheed Mehtab Ali’s father, attended as the principal guests.
Colonel Yasir Sahib commended the principal, Mr. Barkat Bernard Sahib, and the school’s leadership during his remarks.
He gave the institution great credit for helping many of its alumni launch their careers; these individuals are now well-known names in a range of professions.
This recognition demonstrates the school’s commitment to developing future leaders and providing an excellent education.
The occasion also presented Muhammad Ilyas Palijo, the father of the valiant Shaheed Mehtab Ali, to speak to the assembly.
He was extremely appreciative of the Pakistan Army for using the organization to pay tribute to his son. Speaking with joy that the school bears his son’s name, Mr. Palijo emphasized the Mehtab Shaheed Army Model School and College’s combined attributes of affordability and excellence.
In addition to celebrating academic achievement, the event was a moving reminder of the selflessness of people like Shaheed Mehtab Ali, who showed others how to overcome adversity and be brave like him.
It demonstrated the students’ steadfast dedication to study and the strong relationship that exists between the school and the community it serves.
